“I AM THAT GIRL”, is a special symposium of women for women, is a day designed to create an opportunity for Souderton Area High School girls to be informed and inspired by accomplished women in our community. The girls will take part in conversations and interactive activities as women from a vast array of careers and experiences share their personal and career stories.
THIS DAY HAS SEVERAL GOALS:
Provide leadership opportunities for all girls, whether they serve as committee members, ambassadors or participants.
Teach young women the different ways to build confidence and balance their personal lives against the pressures they face in today's competitive world.
Expose female students to future career and personal opportunities while giving them strategies and resources to overcome the barriers they may face.
Build and strengthen the female student body community by helping girls recognize the power of the individual.
Demonstrate the diversity in the presenters' stories and their willingness to share their expertise with our Souderton Area High School girls.
Bring together alumni, family and community members to celebrate the common threads that connect us as women.
